WEtransFORM. New European Bauhaus and Beyond

Join the two-day festival on sustainable architecture and urban development on 6–7 June 2025 at the Bundeskunsthalle in Bonn.

The Bundeskunsthalle, in collaboration with the New European Bauhaus, invites to WEtransFORM. New European Bauhaus and Beyond, a two-day opening festival taking place on 6–7 June 2025 in Bonn, Germany. The event marks the launch of a major international exhibition on the future of sustainable building and urban transformation.

The festival brings together leading voices from across Europe — climate scientists, architects, urban planners, designers, and public officials — to explore how the built environment can respond to the challenges of our time. Through lectures, panels and debates, the event fosters cross-disciplinary dialogue and forward-looking thinking on architecture, sustainability, and cities.

Participation is free of charge. Registration is requested by email at: buchungatbundeskunsthalle [dot] de. The event will be held in German and English.

As part of the festival, the New European Bauhaus is organising a dedicated roundtable exploring how architects and city planners can contribute to shaping a more sustainable and inclusive Europe.

Exhibition: WEtransFORM. On the Future of Building

6 June 2025 – 25 January 2026
Bundeskunsthalle, Bonn

The exhibition WEtransFORM. On the Future of Building presents around 80 exemplary projects from across Europe that address the urgent need for sustainable and climate-resilient architecture. It invites visitors to reflect on how buildings and urban spaces can contribute to ecological change, foster social inclusion, and reimagine the relationship between nature and the built environment.

The exhibition is part of the Bundeskunsthalle’s 2025 thematic focus on sustainability and ecological transformation.
